Lovis Heuss is a performer and drag artist. They perform solo, in collectives, and in the context of free theatre scene in Switzerland and Germany.
Together with Chicks* freies Performancekollektiv, Lovis created and performed the theatre piece “Mastektomie – ein bittersüsses Abschiedslied” (2024), co-produced by Sophiensæle in Berlin. The interactive farewell ritual thematizes breast removal surgeries, the overlaps of trans and cancer/BRCA experiences, collective care, medical system frustrations, and (gender) joy which includes a 10-minute drag solo by Lovis. The piece was be resumed in September 2025 with another 3 sold out shows at Sophiensæle.

Lovis’ Drag Persona Justin Bellini Case likes creating and showcasing their handmade campy costumes, playing genderfuckery and building quirky characters. Justin performs solo, as a moderator, a gameshow animator, or in a group with their Drag Collective The Heart Throb Mob. Justin Bellini Case performed at Zurich & Tallinn Pride, Porny Days Film Festival, in the context of theatre pieces, and the vernissage of the Interdependencies exhibition at Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst.

Lovis performed as a guest performer in Criptonite’s Pleasure (2023, 8’). With many references to hydrofeminism, the performance thematizes the trans and crip reclaiming of the access to bodies of water by moving as a group of non-normative bodies. The performance has since been shown reclaiming pools, the lakeside and rivers.
